Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu state received a part on his back for appointing Princess Stella Ngwu as the first female chairman of the Post Primary Schools Management Board, Enugu.
The world Igbo Women Association Led by the associations NationaL President, Mrs. Maria Okwor made the commendation during a courtesy visit to the chairman of the board, Princess Ngwu in her Enugu office recently.
Mrs. Okwor explained that the appointment of an amazon Like Princess Ngwu to such a sensitive position will bring positive change in the education industry of the state.
While maintaining that women are the bedrock of nation building, Mrs Okwor expLained that, the mission of the association is to restore the dignity of Igbo nation.
Responding, the chairman of the Board, Princess Ngwu thanked the association for identifying with her and explained that the role of women in any endeavour and in national building cannot be over-emphasised. She promised that she will not disappoint her fellow women and stated that God in His creation did not discriminate in giving both the spirit and taLents to men and women.
Princess Ngwu regretted that the problem with women is that they do not appreciate each other, pointing out that the moment they begin to appreciate the uniqueness of each other, the sky will be their Limit.
She advised them to always appreciate each other and come together in order
to building a great nation, stressing that women were naturally created to bring care into Leadership.
