The Enugu State Government headed by the Education friendly Governor Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani has assured teachers in Enugu state of being promoted from Grade level 16 to Grade level 17.
This was made known by the Chairman of Post Primary Schools Management Board, Enugu, Prince Sir. M. A. Akpa, during this year’s speech and prize giving day celebration at National Grammar School, Nike Enugu.
Prince Akpa earlier in his remark stated the boards commitment towards ensuring qualitative education in the state. He went further to say that the board had set all the needed machineries in motion for the said objectives.
The Chairman, buttressing his poing, picked Mrs. Okolo E.I. the most dedicated staff of the year and Miss M.Chika Ude most punctual staff of the year and appointed them substantive Vice Principals of the school while the Vice Principal administration, Mr. Chukwueze C. C. due to his outstanding performance in the school, was also promised appointment as a principal.
On the other hand, the out-going senior prefect of the school, Prince Amobi received an Award of Three Thousand Naira from the Chairman of the Board, for his outstanding performance.
Responding, the school principal, Mr. W.O. Agbo expressed the appreciation of the school over the good gestures demoinstrated by Prince Akpa. He therefore conferred on Prince Akpa, the “OKA-OMEE1” National Grammar School, Nike.
In his vote of thanks, Mr. Chukwueze C.C. thanked the chairman and promised that they would not relent in their efforts to ensure hard work, and dedication in the school.
